Hi, everyone. This won’t take long.
I’ve got some news for all my free subscribers. For at least the remainder of 2023, you will be able to have a paid subscription to The Writing Life With Jason Liegois for the price of $40 per year. That’s a 20 percent discount from my current yearly price. Sadly, I am not able to lower the monthly price lower than my current $5 per month.
The $40 per year is a good deal over $4 per month, to be honest, especially since I’m not guaranteeing I won’t get it back up to $50 per year starting in 2024.
Anyone buying a paid subscription from me gets full access to all of my archived posts and paid subscriber exclusive posts you won’t be able to get anywhere else, like this original fiction telling the story of a soccer club featured in my book The Yank Striker.

I’ve got another paid subscriber exclusive coming up this Sunday - a new short story that could serve as a prologue to a bigger book series I first talked about in depth earlier this week. And it will only be available here and on my Wordpress blog Liegois Media (although you’ll need a paid subscription to it to see the entire piece there. I think it will be a good introduction into the world I’ve begun to build.
The Birth of a Wrestling Story

Having been in different writing groups for more than a decade, I’ve heard everything from those who proudly call themselves “pantsers” (as in seat-of-the-pants) and those who meticulously pl…
By the way, anyone is eligible for a free seven-day trial for a full paid subscription - the notice should be there right at the paywalls for my paid exclusive pieces. If I were you, this Sunday might be an opportune time to give it a whirl.
I’ll see you around.
