For today, an excerpt from my upcoming second book in The Yank Striker series.
Hi, everyone, and welcome to the second edition of Prose Night at the Writing Life.
It’s here where I’ll be posting original prose fiction (although literary non-fiction is not out of the question either) every second weekend (usually on Saturday) of the month. Sometimes, this might be original short stories. In this edition, as well as the first edition of this series, I’m posting excerpts from ongoing works in progress.
In that first post, I showed a scene from my work in progress, tentatively titled The Yank Striker 2 (the second in my series about an aspiring American soccer player starting his career in the English Premier League). It showed my main character bonding with some teammates and inviting them to his apartment for a holiday get together.
